This has been making the blog rounds. It's amusing. I remember in medical school on my surgery rotations anesthesiologists half reading Newsweek or Time, or flipping through the pages of a book during a boring case, one eye on the monitor. Drinking coffee. Joking around with the nurses. They made it look easy, in other words. I'm their biggest fan, though, since my painless surgery and my life-altering experience with IV caffeine, the best thing since, ah, well, anything.
